Not on public displayTree
Norma D Hunter lives locally to Huntly and joined us for a one year collaboration in 2011/12 to test the role of Arts Visitor. She identified a need to provide a focal point for some town residents who have/had been directly and indirectly affected by illness.
From researching "Wishing Trees and Clootie Wells" she identified a site in Munlochy on the Black Isle as the most visited in Scotland. Taking water from this source, Norma walked the 90+ miles back to Huntly to 'bless' a tree and tie some cloots gifted by local people to start off the Huntly Wishing Tree.
No longer on public display.
